I am struck by the profound nature of our selfishness.
Even the best of us spends the vast majority of his time thinking about himself. What will we drink, eat, where, do? How do we improve ourselves, get ahead, enrich ourselves? It is a practicality of course to think of you, for who else would or should? Nevertheless, the simple fact is that we are engrossed in ourselves 80-90% of the time and one wonders if there is a better way, as Christ said not to worry of these things and then somehow to be free of them to do God's Will for others.
