Web

Suspended twice a man's height;
an arm's length across
In "measureless oceans of space",
Its mistress motionless
As the pupil of the eye;
Light filtering through the green
A gathering downpour
breaking though in floods

From the reign of water and sun,
Captured a rainbow
Vibrating its spectrums to break free
From we know not where
Blew Arachnid's strings,
Playing them like a harp's crescendo
In a soundless symphony of sight.
